Special guest speaker Jim Higdon is the co-founder of Cornbread Hemp. 

James (Jim) Higdon is a native of Lebanon, Kentucky. He holds degrees from Centre College, Brown University, and Columbia University. In 2005, Jim began to write the true story of The Cornbread Mafia. His relationship with members of the Cornbread Mafia gave him particular insights into the mafia-style storylines emanating from Marion County, Kentucky.
 
The Cornbread Mafia: A Homegrown Syndicate's Code Of Silence And The Biggest Marijuana Bust In American History was published in 2012, which led to Jim's journalism career covering Kentucky for the Washington Post and cannabis policy for POLITICO. In 2018, after realizing that there were no CBD companies making high-quality, full-spectrum CBD products, Jim and his cousin Eric began their journey to launch Cornbread Hemp. His expertise in the hemp industry has helped him make Cornbread Hemp a tangible CBD business with the best farmers in Kentucky.

KSAE Member Organization: $20/person (Includes breakfast and tour of The Trail following the breakfast session)

Non-Member Organization: $40/person (Includes breakfast and tour of The Trail following the breakfast session)
