"Up-Tick: The Uplifting Benefits of Positive Productivity"

Virtual Lunch and Learn by Steve Haffner,
Certified Virtual Presenter, Decision Performance and Productivity Expert

The COVID-19 crisis has disrupted personal productivity in both our professional and personal lives, and the feeling of being unproductive affects our sense of self-worth and overall happiness. But productivity is not just getting more done. It is about prioritizing your time, energy and attention to match your goals and your values. In this inspiring and eye-opening program, the audience discovers new criteria for defining what it means to be productive. You will learn not only how to get more done, but how to get the right things done so that you will be more fulfilled, satisfied, and happier. Whether you need to manage your time better or just want a motivational kick in the pants, Up-Tick will help you do more of things that matter most to you.

Key learning objectives

  • Explore the cognitive illusions that zap your productivity
  • Discover why “working happier” is more productive than working harder or smarter
  • Learn how to effectively measure and allocate your personal resources
  • Improve your ability to predict future happiness

SPEAKER

Steve Haffner is a decision performance and productivity expert, presenting keynote and workshop programs on peak performance, productivity, and critical thinking to audiences across the US, both on-site and virtually.

Steve began his journey with a successful 30 year career as an IT professional and executive for companies such as EDS, Mercer, and Humana. Then in 2011 he launched his own business as an entertainer (magician and mentalist) and speaker.

Steve’s experiences as a corporate professional, business owner, and magician give him a unique perspective on how subconscious influences impact our thinking, success and relationships without our awareness.

His programs incorporate research from the fields of psychology, neuroscience and behavioral economics. Steve calls himself The De-illusionist as he helps audiences break through the illusionary biases, shortcuts, and impulses of the primitive “lizard brain” to improve their decision performance and productivity.

Currently, Steve is the President of the Kentucky Chapter of the National Speakers Association.

Find out more about Steve at his website SteveHaffner.com. He also shares his insights in his Invisible Mind Blocks Newsletter. Drop him a line at steve@stevehaffner.com if you would like to receive the newsletter to learn more about your own “lizard brain.”
